Waitlist and online booking
Collect names before you open, or take real appointment times — not both at once.
Last updated 2026-09-05
Waitlist is how you collect names before the shop is open, and how you turn public booking on or off.
Pick Public waitlist, Online booking, or Neither. Waitlist and online booking cannot both be on.
Public waitlist
The homepage has the join form on the page. People enter a name, email, and optional phone, then tap Join. They get an email confirmation. The public Services section is hidden while the waitlist is on. They also land in Clients once a shop exists. Staff get a notification when someone new joins.
Use Mark contacted or Mark booked as you work the list.
Online booking
The website shows service and time picking, and the waitlist form is hidden. Clients get an email when they book or cancel.
Turn this on when you are taking real appointments.
Find a booking
When the waitlist is off, clients can use Find a booking on the public site with the phone number they booked with. They can reschedule or cancel an upcoming visit from there, as long as they are still inside your cancel/reschedule notice window on Hours.
